Neil Ellis Wines · Helshoogte, Stellenbosch
Site-selected Cape wines since 1984
Neil Ellis began in 1984 by buying grapes from vineyards that were not his own, in rented cellar space. His son Warren has been head winemaker since 2012, and the wines still follow the vineyards: Jonkershoek, Groenekloof, Elgin, Piekenierskloof.

The Vinty Take
Neil Ellis built the name by finding the vineyard first and the label second. That's why a Neil Ellis Cabernet tastes of Stellenbosch and the Sauvignon Blanc tastes of the coast.
