Badsberg Chardonnay Sur Lie 2025 — A Breedekloof Chardonnay from a cellar that’s been quietly overperforming since 1951. Fermented in French and Hungarian oak and rested five months on the lees, it pours straw-gold with fresh citrus, butterscotch and buttery oak in generous balance.
Alvis Drift Signature Viognier 2025 — From South Africa’s most-awarded estate — four golds and grand-gold certificates across the 2025 competition season. Intense apricot, rose petal and warm spice give this full-bodied, richly textured Viognier real crowd-pulling power; often called “a white wine for red wine lovers.”
Neil Ellis Groenekloof Sauvignon Blanc 2024 — The highest-rated Neil Ellis wine in the current Platter’s Guide — 4.5 Stars (94 Points). Sourced from the same Contreberg Farm in Groenekloof since 1990, it delivers gooseberry, passion fruit and pink grapefruit over a flinty, saline finish that’s unmistakably Darling coast.
Jasons Hill Beatrix Reserve Chenin Blanc 2024 — The Breedekloof estate’s flagship white, barrel-fermented in 100% new Hungarian oak and matured 14 months on the lees. White peach, citrus peel and toasted almond build to a long, savoury finish. Rated 91/100 (Winemag editor’s rating).
Steel Wines Colombard 2022 — A small-batch darkhorse from MasterChef finalist Jason Steel, sourced from a 1987 old-vine Robertson block and matured in an ex-Vin de Constance barrel. Floral perfume, citrus and peach with genuine depth for a variety rarely given this much care.
