The Producer
This Western Cape rosé comes from an established Cape Winelands estate with a strong reputation for its reds. We’ve agreed to keep their name off the bottle, and that agreement is exactly why you can pour estate-grade wine at an insider price. Same grapes, same cellar, same winemaking team. The only thing missing is the label, and the No Label Tax that rides along with it.
Vintage & Terroir
2026 kept Cape growers on their toes. A warm, dry start gave a good fruit set, February rain brought welcome relief, and March heat spikes pushed ripening along quickly. The result was smaller berries with concentrated flavour, and for a rosé built around freshness, that means bright fruit with plenty of energy.
In the Cellar
CGC is a blend of old-vine Cinsault, Carignan and Grenache Noir, made in the pale, elegant Provence style. Old vines give smaller crops with more concentrated fruit, which is why this rosé has real flavour behind its delicate colour. Everything about it is built for freshness rather than weight: lifted aromatics and a light, crisp body. It’s released young, so the fruit stays bright and the acidity stays lively, exactly how a summer rosé should taste.
