Description
The Survivor Terroir Chenin Blanc 2024 vibrantly showcases the unique character of the Swartland. It offers bright aromas of ripe pear, honeydew melon, and a touch of citrus blossom. On the palate, juicy fruit and subtle oak blend perfectly, creating a fresh yet full-bodied wine.
The vineyard thrives on deep red Oakleaf and Hutton soils, which add structure and richness. The cooling Benguela sea breeze preserves the wine’s natural acidity and crispness.
Winemakers harvest the grapes early in the morning to keep them cool and press immediately. They ferment half the juice in stainless steel tanks to highlight fresh fruit flavors. The other half ferments naturally in seasoned French oak barrels, then ages in those barrels for eight months to build complexity.
This wine finishes crisp and refreshing, pairing wonderfully with Thai green curry, roast chicken, or creamy butternut dishes.
