  • Waterkloof Circumstance Mourvèdre 2020 (100% Mourvèdre — Schapenberg, Stellenbosch)
    Biodynamic, horse-worked, wild-yeast fermented. Harvested at just 2 tonnes per hectare, whole-bunch fermented in open-top wooden fermenters and aged 24 months in old barrels. Tim Atkin awarded it 92 points. Dark blackberry, graphite, dried lavender and a meaty, savoury depth — this is serious coastal red with a long, creamy finish.
  • Groenland Antoinette Marie 2020 (Bordeaux Blend — Bottelary Hills, Stellenbosch)
    Named after winemaker Kosie Steenkamp’s daughters — a Michelangelo Gold and Veritas award-winning blend from clay-rich granite soils on the elevated slopes of the Bottelary Hills. Rich dark fruit layered with chocolate, vanilla and well-integrated oak. A wine with family and heritage in every sip.
  • Steel Wines Cinsault 2023 (100% Cinsault — Bonnievale)
    Jason Steel’s playful, light-bodied summer red from a tiny 0.29-hectare vineyard beside the Breede River. Partial carbonic maceration preserves bright, crunchy red berry fruit, then 12 months in old French oak adds just enough depth. Juicy, vibrant and dangerously easy to drink — especially with a light chill.
  • Cabernet Franc 2019 — Elgin (100% Cabernet Franc — Elgin)
    Cool-climate elegance from one of the Cape’s most celebrated wine valleys. 100% open-fermented and aged 12 months in second-fill French oak. Vivid ruby in the glass, with perfumed red fruit, herbs and a touch of graphite on the nose. Fine tannins, racy acidity and a long, refined finish — a textbook expression of what Elgin does best.
  • Metzer Family Mantra 2021 (60% Shiraz, 40% Cinsault — Helderberg & Firgrove)
    Wade Metzer’s most personal wine — mentored by the legendary Eben Sadie, Platter’s awarded the Mantra 4.5 stars and 90 points. Just 215 cases made. An homage to the lighter-bodied, elegant SA reds of the 1960s: bright Cinsault fruit woven through spicy Helderberg Shiraz, whole-bunch fermented with wild yeast and aged in old oak. Silky, perfumed and utterly drinkable.
  • Stettyn GWM Grenache 2025 (100% Grenache Noir — Breede River Valley)
    From a family that’s been farming the Breede River Valley since 1714, this cool-climate Grenache delivers ripe strawberry, red cherry and raspberry with warm spice and white pepper. Part of Stettyn’s SAAF aircraft heritage range — named for the legendary “Growler” patrol aircraft. Silky texture, bright acidity and real depth.
