Bottelary Reds, Beautifully Boxed
The Groenland Classic Collection brings together three of the Steenkamp family’s finest red wines from their Classic range, all from the celebrated Bottelary Hills in Stellenbosch. This is the perfect introduction to a fourth-generation family estate that has been crafting award-winning wines for over 90 years. Each bottle showcases the depth and character of Bottelary terroir at a price that makes brilliant sense.
Inside the Case
Groenland Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 — A classically styled Cab with blackcurrant, cedar and dark chocolate, backed by firm yet velvety tannins. The Bottelary’s gravel soils and cooling Table Bay breezes produce a structured, age-worthy red.
Groenland Shiraz 2020 — Rich and spice-laden, with dark berry, black pepper and smoky oak notes. Groenland’s 37 hectares of Shiraz are among the estate’s strongest varietals, and this wine shows exactly why.
Groenland Antoinette Marie 2020 — The flagship blend of 57% Merlot, 33% Shiraz and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, named after the Steenkamp daughters. Platter’s 4-star rated, with plush dark fruit, chocolate and velvety tannins.
Why You’ll Love It
Three award-winning Bottelary reds from a single family estate, all in one box. Whether you’re building a cellar, hosting a braai or simply discovering what Stellenbosch’s Bottelary Hills have to offer, this collection delivers quality, variety and exceptional value. It’s a complete introduction to one of the Cape’s most exciting family wine farms.
Perfect Pairings
The Cabernet Sauvignon pairs beautifully with grilled fillet steak or aged cheddar. The Shiraz is a natural fit for lamb shanks or boerewors off the braai. And the Antoinette Marie is superb alongside a slow-roasted rack of lamb or a rich venison pie. Serve all three at 16–18°C.
