Description
Previously bottled under a boutique label and scoring 91 points, Reserve Rouge now joins the Vinty Collection. It’s our kind of red—generous in flavour, grounded in Swartland soil, and made for great nights.
Reserve Rouge is part of our Vinty Collection—a red blend from the Swartland, made with care, confidence, and a bit of quiet swagger. Syrah leads the way, with Grenache, Mourvèdre, and a rare slice of old-vine Carignan from a 1970s planting lending complexity and grip. (Yes, it’s that vineyard—the one winemakers talk about in hushed tones.)
What to expect? Wild berries, violets, fynbos, and spice. It’s full-bodied and bold, but not showy—bright acidity and crunchy tannins keep it grounded.
It’s not just us who think this wine’s got something to say. One of South Africa’s most respected palates rated it 91/100 under its original label—proof that this isn’t just a great value bottle. It’s the real deal, dressed in something simpler.
Only a few hundred cases were bottled under the Vinty Collection name. When it’s gone, it’s gone.

A lively Rhône-style blend with bright berry aromas and a hint of spice. Smooth tannins create an easy, balanced sip, and the juicy finish lingers nicely.

Very nice wine. It has fruity smell, but at the same time peppery notes. Taste is nice and full, again a bit peppery, slightly fruity and a bit of bitterness (coffee?).
